Tubing- WEATHER WARNING

1.26.2009
There is a 'Winter Storm Watch' with the potential of 'significant snow, sleet or ice' for Tuesday-Wednesday. I will be keeping my eyes on the progress of the storm and will make a final decision regarding our tubing trip on Tuesday at 11:30am. I will post the decision here, I will also email and facebook message you.

**I will make a weather based decision about the tubing trip on Tuesday at 11:30am**

Believe me, I WANT to go! But, if there's a storm coming, we can't take any chances. Remember, it's not just the weather here in MD we need to worry about, it's also the weather north of us, in PA that will matter.

If we can't go tubing...here's the plan:

- meet @ CBC @ 1:15
- go to 'Red Robin' at the Harford Mall for a late lunch or dessert ($10 or less)
- go to a 4:30 movie ($10 or less + concessions)
- return to CBC @ 7pm

cool?

Where would we go to the movies?
What would we see?
If the weather is bad, would we really be out driving in it?
Just curious

good questions Ben, the storm isn't supposed to get to this area until Tuesday night, so if we were out and about through the late afternoon, we shouldnt have any problems...but we wouldnt want to be up in PA, where the weather will be worse. We'll either see "Bedtime Stories" in Churchville or "Paul Blart- Mall Cop" in Constant Friendship.

and of course, if it looked like it was going to be bad here in Bel Air earlier, everything would be cancelled

if we couldn't go to the movies, would we still meet at the church?

at this point Ben, it all depends on the weather...we might end up tubing or we might end up doing nothing...or something in between, I'll be keeping an eye on the weather and making an informed decision at 11:30 tomorrow...stay tuned!
